Work garter st for 4 rounds beginning with a purl round.

Round 1-2.  With B, *k7, (sl 1, k1) 3 times, sl 1; repeat from *

Round 3-4.  With A, Sl 1 *k7, (sl 1, k1) 3 times, sl 1; repeat from * to last 13 sts, end k7, (sl 1, k1) 3 times.

Round 5-6.  With B, K1, sl 1, *k7, (sl 1, k1) 3 times, sl 1;  repeat from * to last 12 sts, end k7, (sl 1, k1) 2 times, sl 1.

Round 7-8.  With A, sl 1, k1, sl 1, *k7, (sl 1, k1) 3 times, sl 1; repeat from * to last 11 sts, end k7, (sl 1, k1) 2 times.

Round 9-10.  With B, (k1, sl 1) 2 times, *k7, (sl 1, k1) 3 times, sl 1; repeat from * to last 10 sts, end k7, sl 1, k1, sl 1.

Round 11-12.  With A, sl 1 (k1, sl 1) 2 times, *k7, (sl 1, k1) 3 times, sl 1; repeat from * to last 9 sts, end k7, sl 1, k1.
